Amazing Paper Grace January Die of the Month Blog Hop

Who doesn't smile when they get flowers.  Today we're giving you a way to present a bouquet to whomever your heart desires.  The January Die of the Month is a Pop Up 3D Vignette Bouquet.  It's one of those show stopper pieces that folds down flat to fit into an envelope but it's right at home living on a desk.

Even if 3D is not your thing, these beauties can also be used on flat cards and just in time for Valentine's Day.  A bouquet of flowers or a bouquet of hearts - what's your sweetheart getting this year?   Your panel can be decorative, textured or simply a sentiment.

We have started our 2020 year with Amazing set of dies designed by Becca Feeken that allows you to make elegant and unique 3D cards. This Die of the Month gives you a variety of possibility.

You can put a bouquet of flowers in a basket or create a basket full of hearts. It is up to your imagination.

My Project Today:

Today I created a basket with flowers in pastels colours. In front, petals are white and gold and at the back, they are white and light pink. The bouquet is decorated with leaves.

My second project:

My second project is a card. I used a Die of the Month as the star.
Valentine's Day is coming so don't wait too long and make your unique 3D card with Becca January Die of the Month.

Crackle - how I made it ?

I'd like to share with you how I made the crackle on the clay embellishment.

Honestly, I made it by accident. Yes, by accident.
I bought my first mould and I couldn't wait to do something with it.
So I went to the HoobyCraft shop and bought the cheapest clay. It was heavy and hard to work with.
I didn't realize then that this kind of clay is not right.

At first, it looked good (above) but the next day it looked like on the picture below.
The clay around the foam ball was cracked.
I wanted to throw it away but finally, I decided to finish my first ball.

On the top, I made a white crackle using Crackle Medium from Americana Decor.
It is not a perfect ball but it looks like a very old decor.
The silver effect I got using Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallique wax, Old Silver.

Thank you for stopping by.

Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month Blog Hop

Every now and again you need easy, right?  We've become a huge fans of slip-in cards.  They are cards that are cut partially inlaid so that you can simply slip a decorative panel into place and you're done.  This month Die of the Month is called Rose & Filigree Duo Slip in Card.

Your panel can be decorative, textured or simply a sentiment.  The partial inlay can be positioned just where you want it on your card from one side to another or midway.  It can even be used to make a gatefold card or an actual belly band.

This month we have very delicate and subtle dies. I think they are perfect for birthday or wedding cards.

My Project Today:

I made a birthday card using one of the Die from the set. I cut from a cream paper and gold the same pattern and while adhering them I offset them a little. I cut a pink background and put it under bottom shape.

My second card:

My second card is in a lilac colour with a pearl paper. I decorated my card with some of the flowers made using Bacca's dies.

Supply List:

Stamps: none
Paper: Craft Creation Ltd - Victorian Kitchen 3, Gold Mirror, Linen Textured pink and neutral, Pearl paper, Purple paper, Lilac Moments
