Amazing Paper Grace September Die of the Month Blog Hop

Another month has come and this month behind the scenes we've been marveling at all the ways you can use the September Die of the Month called Snip It Flowers.  (Hint: Inspirational PDF attached)

At first glance, it looks like a background die; it is anything but a background die.  It was designed so that each of the flowers can be snipped out to create a panel, frame or element.  Whether you want the 4 x 4 frame, the 3 x 4 frame, a one layer border, a two-layer border or a corner, all you have to do is "snip".  Each one of us has taken the die and spun it into a creation - we hope to inspire!!

This die is so universal. Can be used as a background or single flowers. Petals are so delicate, just beautiful. I hope everyone will find some inspiration and will create amazing cards.

My Project Today:

My first card is a Birthday Card.
I cut a background using die of the Month from gold and white paper. I put them together using 3D tape. I cut off two flowers on the opposite corners.  I embellished my card with a blue bow. To make a card richer I put some small flowers on the top of  the background flowers.

My second Project

This card is mostly dedicated for children. It is simply and clear.
I cut three double flowers from die of the Month. I put some little flowers on the top in different colours. To create flowers I just  added leaves.

Supply List:
Paper:Paper: Pink Linen Textured Card A4, gold mirror paper.

Amazing Paper Grace August Die of the Month Blog Hop

We're so tickled to get to show you a new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for August called Elegant Knots.  Becca's dies don't normally have an abundance of embossing but this one has a ridge throughout the design so that it can be stenciled to add charm.  When released on August 1st Becca showed how easy it was to use for Valentines Day, Christmas and an anniversary - it goes with everything!! Each one of us has taken the die and spun it into a creation.
Please join us as we bring you more inspiration.

I really like the Elegant Knots dies. This is a set of 4 dies which can cut and emboss. Instead of an outer frame, I can use a rim die with an inner pattern to make a little bigger die cut.
With this amazing set, we have the possibility of making a big variety of cards or 3D items.
Today I prepared two different cards, elegant and floral.

My Project Today:

I prepared a base card using only the inner pattern die and a rim die. I cut two pieces and glued them together.

I decorated the base card with one vertical, creme pattern shape. Then I cut two the same patterns, gold and white. While adhering them, I offset them a little and put them horizontally on my card.

I decorated my card with two little foamiran flowers and ribbon bow.

My 2 project:

My second card is A5 size. As a background, I used a floral paper. I die cut the Elegant Knots from floral paper as well.
I decorated a card with foamiran flowers and white bow.

The sentiment "Wishing You Happiness" is printed.

Supply List:
Stamps: "Happy Birthday" (made by myself),
Paper: Neutral Linen Textured Card A4, gold mirror paper, Meadow Impressions paper
Ink: black ink
Accessories: ribbon, foamiran, soft pastels, embelishment, Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for August,

My Project Today:

Today I prepared a frame where you can put a little envelope with money - such a wedding gift.
I used a Frame with 1" Border Die from Shadowbox Collection to create a frame. By the way, I love this die. It is easy to use and frames come out beautiful. After cutting elements for my frame I embossed them.
Two opposite corners are decorated with a bigger die-cuts from a die of the DOM.
My little envelope is 4"x3". I die cut four corners using the smaller one die to create a mini envelope.
Additionally, I decorated my card with handmade flowers with Cinch and Go V. I finished off my project by adding Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Glimmer Plates

Supply List:

Paper: white paper 200gsm, digital paper
AccessoriesJune DOM,

Amazing Paper Grace May Die of the Month Blog Hop

This month's Nostalgic Serenade Card Frame Die Set is absolutely amazing. It is a little bigger than most of dies. From the same die, you can prepare a big A5 card or you have a possibility to create a beautiful 3D project, such as a box, a book cover or basket.

If you missed the introduction and want to know more about what inspired the Die of the Month Club,

My Project Today:

I prepared a box for a card. Firstly, I made a base from a white paper. I cut off the longer part of the die cut and glued it to the base as a handle.
Then I made a rest of the box. On the top, I cut out the hole using the second die (in terms of size) from the set. I took a rectangle, bigger paper than the hole on the top and cut out the decorative pattern. I glued it underneath the hole. I cut three pieces of the frame with a hole in the centre, from white and gold paper. I adhered them alternately on the top using 3D tape.
As you can see I decorated the box with a bow and some flowers.

My second project:

My second project for this hop is a card.
The cover is made from two pieces of die cut (white and pink) adhered using 3D tape. Front and back of the card I connected using a narrow ribbon. I decorated a card using flowers and leaves.

Supply List:

Paper: white 250gsm paper, digital paper, gold paper
Accessories: ribbon, pearls, flowers, 3D tape, Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, May Die of the Month

For this month's Die of the Month, we cut it up and folded it up!

Amazing Paper Grace April Die of the Month Blog Hop

This Elegant Swivel & Sashay Card Die Set is absolutely amazing. We have so many combinations and possibilities to create something wonderful. The words we can use alone or with a background. That makes an additional effect. Flowers and leaves are my favourites. They are so cute.
And finally, the swivel mechanism inside the card makes it unique.

I wanted to create something different so I decided to make a card in a vintage style.
My first step is the selection of the paper. I took a regular card base and I scored it to the size that will be a card base for the biggest die cut from the set.
Firstly I started to create inside. I chose a delicate green paper with roses in the corner. I decorated it with a script stamp and little flowers.
In the middle, I put a swivel mechanism decorated with some pictures and a frame from the set of the Die of the Month.
In the front of the card, I used the words "Hello Friends" with a background. I added lace and beautiful, handmade flowers. The leaves were die cut using the leaf dies included in this set.

My second card for today:

My second card is very simple. Just one side card with a cream background. I added decorative elements on the edge of the card. In the middle, I put a "window" using a 3D tape. On the top, I decorated my project with a bow and flower. At the bottom, I put a gold sentiment on the same background as a card.

Supply List:

Stamps: Script Background Stamp
Paper: Shabby Chic Paper Pad, 6x6 brown card base, gold mirror paper
Ink: Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Accessories: Amazing Paper Grace April Die of the Month, a sizal, laser cut chipboard, lace, pearls, ribbon

Introducing Vintage Treasures Blog Hop

We are so tickled today to be introducing  Vintage Treasures. You'll find a collection chalked full of classics!!  As always, there is a rectangle, oval, square and circle that will work well with everything in your stash and are perfect for layering. Next are several embellishment sets.  As you hop through all the links in the blog hop, you'll see all the new dies and how we used them.

Inspiration for Vintage Treasures

There is a special place in our hearts for those things kept in a hope chest.  Other than a promise of the future, they symbolize things of value and keepsakes that bring back treasured memories.  I delved there to find memories, filigree jewelry and keepsakes of old.  From long-forgotten turn of the century jewelry to the edgings on an old tattered handkerchief, I love bringing the past into the present in a style that is ....well, timeless.  These things -- bejeweled lockets, a sweet tiara and vintage adornments from long ago -- provided the sweet inspiration and restoration of some lovely, lovely Vintage Treasures.

The physical dies in this collection have an extra measure of flexibility and function.  Most templates have an outer rim, and inlay and an inner rim that you can use for your sentiment.

My Project For Today:

I'm tickled to introduce an adorable set of dies S4-990 Bella Luce Oval Etched Dies Vintage Treasures by Becca Feeken.
I think that the oval frame is magnificent and so elegant. Marvellous outer rim makes the card luxuriant and exceptional.

I used gold and delicate pink papers as a background. An oval pattern I cut from a gold paper. In the middle, I put the smaller oval floral background and two layers of the outer rim. To add dimension I used a 3D tape for each element.

I decorated my card with handmade flowers using an adorable set of dies Spellbinders S4-995 Cinch and Go V Etched Dies Vintage Treasures by Becca Feeken.

Here is what the plates actually look like:

My second card is made using Spellbinders S5-393 Tiffany lavaliere Etched Dies Vinatge Treasures by Becca Feeken.

Here we have so many combinations of background and layers.
I used light green and creme colours with extra gold. I decorated this card with handmade flowers using the smallest dies of Spellbinder S4-995 Cinch and Go V Etched Dies Vinatge Treasures by Becca Feeken. Tinny flowers are so cute. I added some pearls too and word "Thank You".

Availability:

These plates are available right now on the Spellbinders website —–> HERE
