Radiant Oval | Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace

Hello everyone,
A week ago our Design Team had an Intro Blog presenting a new "Stained Glass Bouquet" Collection from Amazing Paper Grace. Today I'm sharing a card featuring a beautiful set of dies S5-448 Radiant Oval

I used two inks and blended them on the paper. Then I die cut flowers' outline and white inserts.  For the oval, I used only the "Oasis" colour. I really like it.

I stamped the sentiment "Life is a Beautiful Ride" from STP-025 Make a Scene Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. I used a white opaque powder and embossed it.

I used 3D tape under my flowers and oval to make some dimensions.

Make a Scene - Picture Perfect Window

 Happy Wednesday!

This time I'd like to show you a new interactive card featuring S5-444 Picture Perfect Window from Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace. This set from Make a Scene Collection, includes the window, flowers, box flower, "Sending a Hug" sentiment.

The card base is made using S6-165 Make a Scene card Base. On the top, I put a decorative element from the S6-168 Scallop Façade Frame.

Under the window, I put a vellum paper to create an illusion of glass.

The sentiment says: Sending a Hug and I die cut it twice. Once from a thick paper and then from a gold paper. I'd like to achieve some dimension.

Be aware when you put the flowers close to the edge they easily can fold and make the closure of the card impossible. So to fix it, you have to stiffen the flowers or put them only in the middle.

Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day

Introducing the Amazing Paper Grace | Stained Glass Bouquet

It's a miracle that little painted shards of glass can come together to create such beauty!! The intriguing lure of Stained Glass has inspired artisans from around the world to try their hand at shuffling colors and shuffling shards of glass to create something lovely to gaze upon. Today we are introducing the newest Amazing Paper Grace collection called Stained Glass Floral Bouquet, created for Spellbinders.

Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

Stained Glass Floral Bouquet Inspiration

Becca says that the inspiration for the collection came from her love of stained glass and never being able to muster the time to do it with real glass. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? Now it's easy to create with paper! It's amazing how you can give the same outline to a hand full of different artists and each will come up with a totally different look.

Stained Glass Floral Bouquet Collection

The Stained Glass Floral Bouquet Collection is made up of 7 different die sets. They are sized for layering and include small designs all the way up to A7 designs with different frames that can make both A2 and A7 designs. The collection boasts shadow dies for each set so that whenever you don't want a multicolor design, you can layer your "die-cut leading" onto one color. The hallmark of the collection is a sweet stained glass flower and shadow in almost every set. That gives you a background die and a central motif for each set.

Attention "technique junkies" this collection is sweetly serenading you to try your favorite technique with the leading and the shards.

Here are ours:
  1. Fill each opening with a different color paper and add Glossy Accents.
  2. Ink on a hombre background before resetting your shards.
  3. Add a smidge of color in each opening with a Copic Marker.
  4. Use a different color leading - white, black, gold, silver.
  5. Build up tall leading with 4 layers and adhesive in between each.
My Projects for Today

I created a card and a small box. Firstly, I blended two colours on the paper (Oasis and Lagoon) and then I die cut a rondure. I die cut the same rondure from a gold paper. I used some of the green inserts and put them into a gold die cut. To create flowers I used Kitsch Flamingo and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks.

To create a box I made two rounded boxes. One of them is a little bigger being a lid. On the top a glued the same rondure with some flowers.

Amazing Paper Grace March Die of the Month Blog Hop – Mini 3D Vignette Floral Mason Jar

It doesn't take many steps past February to begin to ache for the stirrings of spring. Blooming flowers are the earliest sign and we have something to get you started. Today I'm introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for March 2021, Mini 3D Vignette Floral Mason Jar.

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these lovely dies to create with.

Imagine kicking rocks as you walk down a sweet rural road, on one of the first days the weather hints that the seasons are starting to change. You pick wildflowers and rush home to put them into a jar of water to keep them perky for the days to come. This is the inspiration that struck Becca when she put together the flower and mason jar combination. It's so cute and sweet!!

This easy to assemble mason jar can contain anything, but today it holds layered flowers. This flat side look is just like a real bouquet. Glue them or layer them with foam tape to make a dramatic statement. The mason jar can be left solid or cut like a frame for a shaker card the stems are simply threaded through each lid to secure them for arrangement. If you're partial to flat cards, use the filigree band with two brads to hold your stems! This makes a lovely card front bouquet, complete with stems.

There are 16 dies included in the Mini 3D Vignette Floral Mason Jar

My Project Today using Mini 3D Vignette Floral Mason Jar

My first project is a jar full of flowers. When I saw this set the first time I knew I wanted to use watercolor paint. I'm not good at painting but I wanted to show water in the jar or the color of the jar. The jar's top is painted with Alchemy color (gold) from JD-091 Watercolors set by Jane Davenport. The flowers are painted in different colors from other sets.

My second project is a card where I glued two layers of a jar and put some flowers inside. I used pastels colors that suit the background. This time I took a "Dream Garden" paper.

Designer Tip: to make stems sturdy I die cut them twice and glued them together.

Make a Scene - Celebration Scene

Have you tried to make a scene already?
If not, I ensure you that is super easy and at the same time very effective. Effortlessly fold the card and put it into the envelope. Then surprise your recipient with the 3D stunning card.

To create this scene you need S6-165 Card Base where you can find a beautiful banner to use.

Inside, I created a scene with balloons and cake using the S5-440 Celebration Scene.  From this set, I especially love a  filigree balloon and cake insert.

Here you can find all sets from the Make a Scene Collection designed by Becca Feeken Amazing Paper Grace from Spellbinders.
Thank you
