Amazing Paper Grace August Die of the Month Blog Hop – Lattice Petal Foldover

It's a square card front! It's an envelope! It's both!! In the transformers world of dies, we love for our dies to be used in many different ways. This die was designed to function as both a card front and for the petals to fold over to enclose a notecard. The pretty lattice filigree is just the icing on top. Welcome to your stash, the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for August 2021 - Lattice Petal Foldover.

You asked and we listened. Our May 2020 Die of the Month was so popular that we made a slightly smaller, dainty version. Becca said that the inspiration for this die set is all about the Note Card. As someone who loves to drop a little notecard into lunch boxes, drop them into packages, and even leaves them on the door for delivery people - this is quick and easy. Die-cut 10 of the lattice petal jackets and 10 of the 3" (or 3x6 for a folded note) notes for inside and you'll always be ready with a stunning note.

Here are some ideas that will inspire you to create with the foldover elements:
1. A box with the foldover as the lid
2. Notecards (there is even a closure piece)
3. A sweet, petite basket

Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 14 dies included in the Lattice Petal Foldover.

My Project Today using Lattice Petal Foldover.

Firstly, I made a slimline card. I used crescent inserts, put them together, and cut beautiful, decorative, circle motifs. On the top, in the middle, I put 3 squares, 2 in blue colours and 1 in pink.
I also created small roses and put them on my card.

My second project is a box with a decorative lid. I used a big die to embellish it.  I also added smaller elements cut from gold and purple paper.

Amazing Paper Grace June Die of the Month Blog Hop - Snip It Grid

Are you ready for another versatile Snip It Grid Die?

As a member of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team, I receive free product for use in my projects.

Hello Gracelets!!  We are so tickled to share our inspiration for the newest Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for June 2020 - A2 Snip It Grid and Calendar Creator.  In fact, since Our earlier Snip It Die was a hit and Becca decided to give you another option with lots of extras!  All of us on the Creative Team want to show you our take on how to use it.

Snip It Grid Extras

The extras added on to this die set make it a wonderful value.  In addition to the grid, you get an entire lower case alphabet plus enough of the upper case alphabet to do Day of Week abbreviations and Months.  If you are already a Member of the Die of the Month Club then you might be tickled to know that this lower case alphabet matches the Upper Case alphabet from October 2019 Die of the Month - One Kind Word (still available).

We kicked around how we might use the die and here's what we came up with:
  1. Background
  2. Large Frame
  3. Double Frame with two apertures
  4. Calendar
  5. Snip out the cross pieces and make a lined background
  6. Shaker Card
  7. Weaving
  8. Crossword Puzzle
Okay, okay, you get the idea!  But we want you to know that this transforms and gives you so many unique options.

Here are the dies included in the set:

My Project Today using Snip It Grid:

Today I'm showing you a Birthday Card. I used letters from the set to create a Happy Birthday sentiment and the date.

My second project is a little box with ribbon and handmade flowers. On the right side I put a gold sentiment "On This day".  Flowers are incredibly beautiful.

Supplies:
Stamps: none
Paper: printed
Ink: Distress Ink picked raspberry,  Distress Ink evergreen bough

Amazing Paper Grace May Die of the Month Blog Hop

We just love dies that transform into different things!  When you look at this die template there is no limit to the ways it can be fixed and flipped and folded to give you a beautiful prop, box, or card.  Welcome to the APG May 2020 Die of the Month - Fleur de Lis Grandeur Fold Over.

We often talk about that "easy to use die template" that you reach for time after time after time.
This is one of those.  This month after using it we've seen it make the most darling filigree envelope that simply requires cutting and folding.  We've seen it make a simple notecard that will produce a card in under five minutes.  We've seen it make a box top that simply takes the time to score and fold the box and drape the die over the top.  As always, the die makes a card that goes from just die-cutting to one that has layers of the filigree elements crisscrossed.  Lol, do cards make themselves?
Almost with this one - that puts in on our "goto" list.

Here are the dies included in the set:

My project today:

My first inspiration for today's Hop is a horizontal card with decorative sides.
On the top, I added two layers of square beautiful die-cut, gold and cream.
Flowers are made with a die from this set.

Sentiment on printed firstly on a paper and then die cut.

My second project is a box with triangular walls.

I die cut each side with die without an outline and then I added the same die cut twice with the outline.  At the top of my box, I cut out holes to tie it up with a ribbon.

Supply List:
Stamps: none; sentiment is printed
Paper: Mint, creme and gold paper
Ink: none

Introducing Royal Flourish | Card and Box Ensembles

Glimmeristas, I hope you are ready for more Glimmer Fun!!!  We have a new mini collection we are introducing today called Royal Flourish. With two card fronts as well as an oval border shape and square border shape - we'll have some stash-worthy things for you to look at. We thought it would be fun to make a card and a matching box using some of our favorite die sets and the new Royal Flourish Glimmer Plates.  It's easy to do and is a show stopper when we need to give a gift.

Inspiration for Royal Flourish

Have you ever noticed during period dramas like Game of Thrones that the Royalty each have their own insignia and way of writing? It's so cool and really fascinating that these things mattered to them.  There was actually a lot of thought and flair behind the written word.   It’s really no different today; we all have our own flourishes of style that we lay down to call things our own.  It was this spirit of honing a style that Becca said provided the inspiration for Royal Flourish.  Glimmer is such a lovely way to add rich detail and embellishment!

We've been especially loving using borders with glimmer.  For this collection, Becca created two border sets that you can cut with Hemstitch Squares and Hemstitch Ovals.   Card fronts that can take a sentiment seem to be the favorite, so happily there are two details plates that will make lovely frames to your favorite sentiments.

My Project For Today:

I'm happy to introduce GLP-125 - Royal Flourish Glimmer by Becca Feeken Imperial Adorned Ovals Foil Plate.

I prepared a gift box for today. In contrast to my previous projects, this one is black.
Firstly, I made a frame from matt black paper. I used the S4-981 Shadowbox Frame with 1" Border from the Shadowbox Collection. To add a little subtlety, I used a gloss, black Glimmer Hot Foil only on the front of the frame.
Next, to create the cover of my gift box,  I took two pieces of thick chipboard and cut them to have a back and front side.
I covered the outside with black paper and the inside with gold matt.
I decorated the outside of the box with black oval elements with gold Glimmer Hot Foil. I used the plates that I'm introducing today. The sentiment is from Elegant Occasion Sentiment Glorious Glimmer Hot Foil.
To finish my project, I put a gold ribbon to complete the decoration of the box.

My second project: a card.

Availability:

These plates are available right now on the Spellbinders website —–>HERE

Amazing Paper Grace May Die of the Month Blog Hop

This month's Nostalgic Serenade Card Frame Die Set is absolutely amazing. It is a little bigger than most of dies. From the same die, you can prepare a big A5 card or you have a possibility to create a beautiful 3D project, such as a box, a book cover or basket.

If you want to find out more about the Club - prices, how you sign up and what's included,
please look --------------> HERE.
If you missed the introduction and want to know more about what inspired the Die of the Month Club,
look --------------> HERE.

My Project Today:

I prepared a box for a card. Firstly, I made a base from a white paper. I cut off the longer part of the die cut and glued it to the base as a handle.
Then I made a rest of the box. On the top, I cut out the hole using the second die (in terms of size) from the set. I took a rectangle, bigger paper than the hole on the top and cut out the decorative pattern. I glued it underneath the hole. I cut three pieces of the frame with a hole in the centre, from white and gold paper. I adhered them alternately on the top using 3D tape.
As you can see I decorated the box with a bow and some flowers.

My second project:

My second project for this hop is a card.
The cover is made from two pieces of die cut (white and pink) adhered using 3D tape. Front and back of the card I connected using a narrow ribbon. I decorated a card using flowers and leaves.

Supply List:

Paper: white 250gsm paper, digital paper, gold paper
Accessories: ribbon, pearls, flowers, 3D tape, Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, May Die of the Month

For this month's Die of the Month, we cut it up and folded it up!
