Cup of Kindness from Amazing Paper Grace | Glimmer Hot Foil Plates

Today I'd like to share a card that I made using a cute set of Glimmer plates from Amazing Paper Grace - GLP-284 Cupe of Kindness. This set includes teapot and tea cup plates and coordinating dies, a beautiful frame, sweet small hearts, and a sentiment "You're my cup of tea".

To foil the frame, teapot, and tea cups I used a pink foil roll. For sentiment and hearts, I used a red foil roll.

Flowers are handmade using June 2020 Die of the Month

Introducing Amazing Paper Grace | Sweet Cardlets II

Last October we introduced Cardlets and they are back in Sweet Cardlets II! A "Cardlet" is a small character motif that comes with a sentiment that fits within a 3 x 3 area and has a matching die. It just so happens that this size is perfect for the ever-popular Slimline Cards. Join us in introducing a new slimline as well - Hemstitch Slimline - it will match Hemstitch Rectangles and all of the other Hemstitch Classics.

I am thrilled to partner with Amazing Paper Grace to bring you this little taste of inspiration!

Sweet Cardlets are just like stamps, but they are metal plates used in the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to transfer foil to paper through a combination of heat and pressure. The Glimmer machine base is rolled through your die-cut machine to deliver that pressure. (Compatibility charts on the Spellbinders website)

The Inspiration behind Sweet Cardlets II

Since we are premiering the first Slimline Card Die for the Amazing Paper Grace line of dies, we wanted you to have plenty of sweet elements that fit onto the slimline. The small motif 3" x 3" footprint makes this easy. Add to that there is a matching die it makes for a cute pop of dimension on all of your cards - Slimline, A2 or A7.

Always mindful of the budget, Becca wanted to create a collection where each set is all you need to make a little card. Sweet Cardlets are small motifs with a 3" x 3" footprint. Sweet Cardlets also fit into the Cascade Card Base and work along with all of the Shadowbox Dies.

Here is what the dies look like:

For today, I prepared a slimline card using GLP-286 A Little Birdie and S6-176 Hemstitch SlimlineAs a base card, I used grey cardstock. Then using alcohol markers I colored white paper to achieve a very similar colour to this on the bird. I put this blue paper under a die-cut with hemstitch.

Using the Glimmer Hot Foil Roll GLF-023 Pewter I foiled a little bird. This is a kind of brown colour. Then I colored it with markers. The floral frame is foiled with similar colour but a little lighter. I used GLF-005 Copper

This set includes 4 plates that are sentiments. I choose "A Little Birdie Told Me...." and "It's Time to Celebrate!"

My second project is a square card. I used white, gold, and mint paper.

I foiled a bird, floral frame, and sentiments using a gold foil. I think this is the best colour to work with. The flowers are colored by markers as well.

Radiant Oval from Amazing Paper Grace

The flowers from S5-448 Radiant Oval are so beautiful that I wanted to expose them. I die cut the floral swag twice and one time the smallest part of it. I used alcohol markers to color the flowers.

I stamped a sentiment "You're a True Friend" from "All Occasion Sentiment" and then embossed it. I used a white opaque powder. The oval is from S6-171 Wistful Window from Stained Glass Bouquet Collection by Becca Feeken.

I hope you like it and I inspire you to create more beautiful crads.

Deco Bloom from Amazing Paper Grace and watercolor painting

As you can see I've created another card using this beautiful die Deco Bloom from Amazing Paper Grace from Spellbinders. My last card has been in a vintage style so now I wanted to create something different.

I took my watercolor paints and painted places visible under a die-cut.  I didn't use a large outline for this card. Instead, I painted a background with watercolor paints.

Roses are decorated with leaves from S4-1103 Fan Flower Transom from the same Collection.

In the end, I added a sentiment "For My Beautiful Friend" from GLP-218 Heart Melt Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set from Delicate Impressions Collection.  I foiled it using a gold foil roll and a Glimmer Hot Foil System.

Deco Bloom from Stained Glass Bouquet Collection

I have one more card to share featuring Deco Bloom from Stained Glass Bouquet Collection. I have so much pleasure creating with this collection so this one won't be the last. I saw lots of cards created with pastels colours so I wanted to design something different. Actually, I love pastels colours as well as vintage style  :)

With gold paper, I created a frame, and then I added the beautiful insert with a wreath. I cut out green leaves separately, and fill the empty spaces on my card.

For the roses, I used cream paper to cut the outline and red and gold to cut inserts. To adhere them to my card I used glue and 3D tape to create a distance.

Amazing Paper Grace May Die of the Month Blog Hop – Mini 3D Vignette Garden Gate

You can tell that around here, we adore spring and the prospect of blooming flowers. This month we invite you to take an idyllic stroll to a place of beauty. It calls and beckons to you, to come and sit down and enjoy your surroundings and all of the nature around you.
Today I'm introducing a beautiful new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month. The way in . . . is through the Garden Gate. Introducing the beautiful new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for May 2021, Mini 3D Vignette Garden Gate.

Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

This A7 showpiece folds flat into an envelope, only to expand and sit on a desktop where it invites the lucky recipient to take a stroll through the Garden Gate. As always, this die is meant to break apart and use the dies separately. The elements are less than 4" wide and are begging you to use them on an A2 card. You'll love the charming details - hinges, a hook lock, and a swinging sign to record your message.

Here are some ideas that might inspire you to create a flat card or box:

1. The picket fence for a gatefold card (hint the gate really opens).
2. The Arches for a wedding.
3. The flowers and vines are curved to fit the arch but also make a wreath.
4. A picket fence box and the arches for handles.

Inviting you to plan your own garden and know you are in a place of peace and beauty when you come in through the Garden Gate.

There are 15 dies included in the Mini 3D Vignette Garden Gate.

My Project Today using Mini 3D Vignette Garden Gate.

I'm really excited to share my project for today's Blog Hop. I love this gate and its versatility.
To create this I only used white and gold paper. To color my gate, flowers, leaves, and plate I used alcoholic markers. So easy and so much fun :)

My second project is a 7x5 card. I cut out an oval hole in the mint paper and adhered it with 3D tape to my card to create a distance. Then, I die-cut a gate's top twice and glued it to the hole adding decorative elements. On the top, I arranged leaves and flowers at the front around the oval.  The bigger flowers are from APGDOM-APR19.

I also added a foiled sentiment using a plate from GLP-033 Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious. I used a gold roll foil.
