Holly Frame Gala by Becca Feeken

This year's Christmas Collection from Amazing Paper Grace is absolutely amazing.  With Cascade Christmas Card Base and each next set of dies from this collection, you can create a beautiful interactive card.
This time I used S5-428 Holly Frame Gala with lots of elements. You can find here birds, deer, bow, holly leaves, holly frame ...

Poinsettia is created with S4-960 Cinch and Go Poinsettia. Additionally, I used antlers die-cut as decorative leaves under flowers.

Booo SpOOky BOO!

 Hi Friends,

Halloween is coming and I'd like to show you my new cards. I've never created Halloween cards before but with this Collection, designed by Becca Feeken I had lots of fun.

The panel is slimline  11cm x 21cm / 4,33" x 8,26". I've started my card by blending with water base ink. I cut 2 circles and embellished them with a frame cut from S4-1048 Elegant Twist Circles. As a background, I put a paper with black bats.  Then I added some nets, spider cat and Spooky Boo sentiment.

I also added some pumpkins and leaves from S4-867 Cinch and Go Flowers III

My send card is created with all Sets from Halloween Collection by Becca Feeken.  I used blending as well.

Merry Christmas with Snowflake Splendor

 Hello, my Friends

I'm back with my new Christmas card featuring S5-429 Snowflake Splendor from amazing Christmas Cascade Collection designed by Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace.

I started with ink blending my panel using two similar colours to achieve an ombre look. I used Harmony by Spectrum Noir Water Reactive ink pads: Oasis and Lagoon. Honestly, teal and mint are one of my favourite colours.
I die cut snowflakes from the set and some of them I coloured with the same inks. I glued them on my panel.

In the middle, I added an octagon blended with the darker ink (Lagoon). I used 3D tape to glue this shape to my card and to get some dimension. The sentiment is die-cut from the same set and I used a glitter paper for that.

Nested Clipped Squares - Halloween Collection Amazing Paper Grace

Hello Friends, welcome back with another card.

Halloween Collection from Amazing Paper Grace includes 3 sets and one of them is S4-1069 Nested Clipped Squares. They perfectly suit with spider net from S3-405 Spooky Boo but I used them for Christmas card as frames. They are so versatile that you can die-cut full clipped square or frame. What more, the frame can be thin or thick.

I obviously added poinsettias. They are so beautiful. You can create them with S4-960 Cinch and Go Poinsettia. The little bell is from the last year Charming Christmas Collection from Amazing Paper Grace S5-380 Charming Snowflake Doily

I hope you like it. Please leave comment on what you think

Elegant Twist Circles - Shaped card

Today I have a card with S4-1048 Elegant Twist Circles as a hero.
I used cream, light pink and gold paper. In the middle, I put a circle from other amazing Collection. This is S4-1035 Candlewick Circles from Candlewick Classic Collection.

Flowers are handmade. I use pattern paper to make them and 2 sets of dies.  The bigger flower is created using S4-1022 Candlewick Grand Pocket from Candlewick Sampler Collection (by the way, this set of dies is on sale in great price just now and include 3 different sizes of flower!)

The smaller flowers are made using July Die of the Month. I added some small leaves from January Die of the Month - Pop Up 3D Vignette Bouquet.

Introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Collection

Amazing Paper Grace has gone back to her roots with classic sewing inspired motifs! Introducing the Picot Petite Collection!

Becca Feeken sent over these lovely dies for me to try.

Over time we've had lace-inspired designs and have loved the feel of Hemstitching and Candlewicking. Reminiscent of needlework and treasured handwork proudly displayed, Becca Feeken has developed another classic line of layering shapes that feel so much like tatting or picot crochet.  As you might imagine, these shapes are crisp, clean, and timeless. Whether you are simply adding a classic layer to a card or cutting an aperture to highlight a lovely sentiment - these shapes mix and match with other sewing inspired motifs as well as intricate backdrops.

Today you're in luck! Our Creative Team is sharing makes from the Picot Petite Collection.

Classic Shapes are Timeless

With each Classic Collection, Amazing Paper Grace creates the most popular die-cutting shapes in oval, round, square, and rectangles. Moreover, these classic shapes mix and match with Hemstitch Classics, Candlewick Classics, Elegant Twist Classics, and now Picot Petit.

The Inspiration behind Picot Petite

If you've ever seen tatting, the little loop produced along the edge is called a "picot".  It's this little loop that is the basis for the border on all of the Petite Picot shapes.  They are lovely as a backdrop for any other layerings as the little picot peeks out.  It's just a subtle way to bring in the ways of classic needlework to give texture and dimension to the backdrop of our cards.

Each of our Creative Team members will show you their take on cards made with a classic picot flair.

My Projects For Today

First up is  S5-432 Picot Petite Squares by Spellbinders.

Here is what the dies look like:

Classic shapes dies are one of those must-have dies. You can simply create a card only with these dies or use them as a supplement.

For today's Blog Hop I prepared a card in pink-purple colours. I used small and medium squares. On the big one, I put a frame from gold and white paper. Under squares, I used foam tape to create dimension.

I use Amazing Paper Grace flowers to embellish the card. The bigger flowers are made with S6-050 Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers. Smaller flowers I made using small dies from July Die of The Month. The leaves are from  S4-1025 Sweet Cottage Flowers.

I stamped "It's Your Birthday" that comes from SDS-166 All Occasion Sentiments Stamp and Die Set

My second project is made in the same style using the same dies and stamp. I create a basket for sweet or small flowers.

Here is the Spellbinders video showing amazing new samples as well as a walkthrough of the entire collection.

Amazing Paper Grace September Die of the Month Blog Hop - Lattice Quadrante

Every once in awhile a die comes along that gives you so many combinations that it's almost like a puzzle.  Today we are sharing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for September 2020 -  Lattice Quadrante.  The four pieces of pristine cut, pie-shaped lattice with decorative edges will have you twirling, twisting, and setting the pieces on end figuring out all the beautiful configurations you can make.

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these lovely dies to create with.

Lattice Quadrante Details

Who isn't a fan of lattice?  Becca shared that so often she longs for pairs of motifs so that she can cut a symmetrical design in one pass.  This die is symmetry on steroids!  She has given us four identical motifs that function as inlays or can be used altogether with a rim to make a rounded central element.  The word quadrante comes from quads and is just the hint you need to know that there are four pie-shaped pieces in this set to create a configuration powerhouse.

Today we want to inspire you to think of different combinations using the Die of the Month, Lattice Quadrante.

It's truly like a puzzle!  Here's what we came up with.

  1. Use all the motifs together in the rim for a large motif.
  2. Alternate motifs in the rim for an alternating lattice design.
  3. Cut each piece separately and use the pointed end as corners.
  4. Make a tall card by stacking two of the motifs the tall way.
  5. Make a pocket card by cutting two of the motifs side by side.
  6. Set the die on point and cut a v-shaped peek a boo piece.
  7. Use one motif alone.
Are you getting the picture?  We can name so many more!

There are SEVEN dies included in the Lattice Quadrante Set

My Project Today using Lattice Quadrante

I prepared two different boxes for small chocolates. My first, bigger box is for four sweets.
I die cut two big shapes and glued them together. I made a small box from white paper and put it on glued shapes. Then I folded it to cover my box with sweets.

I decorated this box with smaller, triangle die cut from the set. On the top, I put a white bow.

My second mini box is made with one shape of the big die-cut. I folded it to create a small box for three chocolates.

The flower is handmade from S4-867 Cinch and Go Flowers III.  To make leaves under the flower I used S5-055 Layered Poinsettia flower.
