Introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Delicate Impressions Collection

Delicate Impressions Details

We’re excited to introduce another Glimmer Hot Foil collection! The Delicate Impressions Collection has five sets of Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. The fifth set, Heart Melt Sentiments, has four unique phrases with matching dies. The other four sets are designed to create borders and accents that can be used on cards from A2 to 5 x 7-inches. Each elegant motif can be layered with itself or mix with others in the same collection or beyond.

Glimmer Hot Foil Plates are metal plates used in the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to transfer foil to paper through a combination of heat and pressure. Roll the Glimmer machine base through your die cut machine to deliver its beautiful design. Refer to Compatibility Charts on Spellbinders' website, to see if your machine is a match.

Our Creative Team members will showcase their creations made with the Delicate Impressions Collection today. For those of you who enjoy watercolors, we are using Jane Davenport Watercolors to highlight our projects. See if you can identify what techniques are being used!

Becca Feeken sent over these stunning plates and dies for me to try.

Each of our Creative Team members will show you their take on cards made with a Collection

My Projects For Today

First up is GLP-240 Diamonetta Background.

Here is what the dies look like:

For today I made a card with GLP-240 Diamonetta Background plate. I foiled this pattern on the paper using pink foil and then I die cut it using S5-308 Hemstitch Rectangles. On the top, I put Candlewick ovals pink and white. I decorated it with smaller foiled oval and a sentiment from GLP-218 Heart Melt Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set

I finished my card with flowers paint with watercolour paints from Jade Davenport.  I used JD-042
Watercolors Set Brights to color my flowers and JD-091 Watercolors Set Glitz-Sea to color leaves.
I love using these paints. They have beautiful colors.

My second project is a simple card featuring Diamonetta Background. I wanted to show that simplicity can be beautiful. I decorated it with the sentiment from the same set of glimmer plates GLP-218 Heart Melt Sentiments and flowers painted with Jane's Davenport paints.

Graceful Swan by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace.

 Hi Friends,

Today I have a card featuring GLP-236 Graceful Swan Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set. This set is a part of the Sweet Cardlets Collection by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace.

I also die cut a square from S5-432 Picot Petite Squares and put it under my swans.

A sentiment is foiled with a plate from the same set as swans. I used 3 colours of foils to achieve an interesting effect.

Thank you for stopping by

Amazing Paper Grace November Die of the Month Blog Hop - Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh

If you haven't already jumped into Christmas preparations, are you ready to sleigh it?
Today we are sharing the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for November 2020 - Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh. This one is a little bit different because it folds down flat for mailing as do all the dies in the 3D Vignette lines.

Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace sent me these lovely dies to create with.

Poinsettia Sleigh Details

This die can be used as flat detail on a 2D surface but transforms into a 3D show piece so easily that we're happy you will have both options. Becca traditionally creates a high end die that doubles as a decoration piece in November of each year. Let's just call it icing on the cake for the holidays. It's really a satisfying venture to grab a cup of coffee and sit down to put it together as it is to set it out on the table.

Today we want to inspire you to think of different combinations using the Poinsettia Sleigh.
Here's what we had in mind:
  1. Table Center Piece
  2. Table Setting Favor
  3. Filled with Candy and Goodies
  4. Part of a Wonderland Menagerie
  5. Flat 2D on the front of a card
In the comments let us know how you think it should be used.

There are 21 dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh

My Project Today using the Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh

My first project is a 3D Sleigh full of poinsettias. I used a blue paper to create the sleigh and I decorated it with silver mirror and glitter paper.

My second project is a card with the sleigh. I used the same poinsettias but with single layers of petals.

Supplies:
Stamps: none
Paper: silver mirror paper, glitter paper
Ink: Distress Ink Twisted Citron

P.S. In the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Encouragement Facebook Group there are two Step-by-Step Tutorials that take a novice through creating some spectacular poinsettias. I hope you'll join the group so that you have both of those methods in your toolbox. They'll come in handy this Christmas Season.
