Harmony Doily

My new inspiration for Amazing Paper Grace.
Flowers are handmade. The light pink roses are made with Spellbinders dies (S5-050 Donna Salazar Rese Creation), one of the first dies I ever bought.
The dark pink flower is made with S4-1015 Candlewick Rosebud - one of my favourite.

To decorate I used a little of White Gesso and glitter.

I also added a decorative element made from resin and painted Prima's paints.

3D Project Step by Step - March Die of the Month - again

Amazing Paper Grace March Die of the Month again.

Because lots of people are up for how I did a mini table I decided to show you this project step by step.

Here you are March DOM. I used only these dies.

You will need 8 of the corner die cuts to make table legs.
I used gold paper for this.

Use square die to cut one "tabletop". I did it with white paper.
I put two corners widthways of the white square. Secure them to the mat using tape.

Using a knife cut them exactly at the midpoint.

This is how they should look like. Complete all four pair of corners this way.

Put together two pieces of cut corners on cardstock and trace them.

Use scissors to cut out the shape, background for corners. Make sure you cut a little more than trace to hide the edge of pink background under the gold corners.

This is what you should have.  You’ll need four of these.

Adhere gold corners on cardstock (I used pink this time) end to end.

You should have one tabletop and four legs.

Cut 4 strips (there are white on photo) and score in half.
Adhere white paper to the one panel at the edge (tabletop upside down) and then adhere panels side to side.

Using smaller strips, I attached legs together with the same way.

Here is the previous mini table I did for March DOM Blog.

Embellish outside with circle die and flowers. ENJOY!

Thank you for stopping by.

Introducing Dimensional Doilies Blog Hop | Amazing Paper Grace

Things are not always what they appear!  When you look at this die set, you may be hard-pressed to see what it becomes but that's why we're here - bring on the inspiration!  We're so tickled to be introducing a new and unique take on doilies.  Please welcome the Dimensional Doilies Collection.  Hop through with all of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team to get a small taste of inspiration as well as see how each has used these new motifs!

Inspiration for Dimensional Doilies

Some of the first dies ever to hit the market were doilies.  They gave you a symmetrical base to put your card elements on and they simply frame a creation and draw your eye inward.  By now you probably have many flavors of doilies in your stash.  These doilies are different.

With one pass of the die, three identical motifs are created.  These motifs have perforations and slits on each edge.  When the perforations are folded and the slits are intersected, it creates a round doily of 6 to nine pieces that has a secondary filigree layer.  The texture, dimension and pure femininity they add to a card front is gorgeous.

My Project For Today:

I'm tickled to introduce S4-1060 Heart Melange Doily.

I made a card with Heart Melange and I used five shapes creating half of the circle.
Firstly I made a gold half with a white background and then I made a pink half. I put one on the other slightly offset it. The uniqueness of these doilies gives us an additional dimension.
I decorated my card with handmade flowers with APG Dies.
This collection is amazing and gives us enormous possibilities to create.
